Maxus PA 1183 Red Rubber Hose

Maxus PA 1183 Red Rubber Hose

The Maxus brand was established by Campbell Hausfeld in 2003. Its goal was, and still is, the provision of professional grade tools and equipment for professional users such as contractors, garages, and industrial users. One of the products that proudly carries the Maxus name is the Maxus PA 1183 Red Rubber Hose.

Rubber hoses have been around since the 19th century but of course plenty of innovations have been incorporated to today’s rubber hoses. Most are now reinforced with fibers or steel cords. They are braided, knitted, or spiraled within the plies of the hose. Corrugations or bellows are used for flexibility.

The Maxus PA 1183 uses state-of-the-art technologies to maintain its flexibility even under extreme temperatures. It is strong and durable and will not easily kink even when it is pulled while it is still looped. It is highly resistant to abrasions and cuts and thus can be expected to provide a long service life. It also resists dust, dirt, oils, and other chemicals making it easily cleaned. Indeed, all you need is a clean piece of cloth to wipe off any dirt from it.

With its length of 50 feet, you can easily reach most areas without the need to move your air compressor. Its brass ΒΌ-inch NPT male fittings on both ends make it easy to connect your pneumatic nailer, sander, grinder, or paint sprayer to the compressor. The hose itself has an internal diameter of 3/8 inch.

Although rubber hoses tend to be heavier than their polyurethane and polyvinyl chloride cousins, they remain a favorite among plenty of users because of their flexibility and soft feel when gripped.
