Legacy Flexilla Air Hose

Legacy Flexilla Air Hose

The suffix “illa” is a reference to the fictional monster Godzilla that was originally created in Japan. Godzilla is a giant of enormous strength and power. Adding “illa” to the word “flex”, therefore, signifies that the Legacy Flexilla Air Hose is of enormous strength with excellent flexibility.

This increased flexibility is possible because of Legacy’s use of Premium Hybrid Polymer for the construction of the air hose. It has zero-memory which means you can lay it flat in any way you want as it will not revert or recoil into its previous position. The polymer also helps prevent kinks under pressure and resist abrasion of the outer cover.

You can also use it in extreme weather conditions without losing its flexibility. Indeed, it will work flawlessly even in -40°F temperatures. And if mercury levels rise, the air hose will work up to 150°F. Thus, it can be used by oil companies in Alaska as well as in Saudi Arabia. In both of these environments, tight radius bends remain possible allowing you to work in cramped spaces with plenty of twists and turns.

Although the Legacy Flexilla Air Hose is extremely flexible, as with any other hose or device, there is a limit to its flexibility. In order not to exceed this limit, a bend restrictor is incorporated in the hose. This effectively prolongs its service life by reducing wear and tear.

The Legacy Flexilla Air Hose has a maximum working pressure of 300 PSI, and a safety factor of 3:1. It is lightweight and comes in a bright green color trademarked by Legacy as ZillaGreen.

There are three choices of hose diameter –1/2, 1/4 and 3/8 of an inch. You also have four length options, from 25, 35, 50, up to 100 feet. The ends are fitted with 1/4-inch MNPT couplers.
