Goodyear Wingfoot Air Hose

Made from high quality synthetic rubber, the Goodyear Wingfoot Air Hose is suited for multi-purpose use. Its most common applications are for compressor lines, industrial air service, pneumatic tools, and low-pressure spray. Although it is of good quality, it is not an expensive tool.
Like most hoses, the Wingfoot consists of an inner tube, reinforcement, and outer cover. The inner tube is made of nitrile synthetic rubber, RMA Class A. This means that it has a high resistance to wear and tear, as well as to oil. It is reinforced with spiral and braided synthetic yarns which great add to the strength of the hose. The outer cover is also made of synthetic rubber, although it is of RMA Class B. Specifically, it is made of the Chemivic brand. Since it is RMA Class B, it has a lower oil resistance than the inner tube.
The Goodyear Wingfoot remains functional within a wide temperature range, from minus 20°F to 190°F, that is, from below freezing to near-boiling point of water, situations that are often not encountered in regular usage especially for the do-it-yourselfer.
There are two variations of the Wingfoot as far as working pressure is concerned –200 and 300 PSI. For most home projects, the former may suffice. Being made of rubber, the hose is non-conductive. Minimum electrical resistance at 1000 V DC is greater than 1 megohm per inch of length.
As for internal diameters (ODs), there are eight different sizes –3/16,1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, and 1 inch. They are available in reels of 500 feet.
The Goodyear Wingfoot Air Hose is offered in three colors –black, blue, and red.
