Goodyear F5 Air Hose

With improved flexibility, lighter weight, all-weather performance, and heightened durability, the Goodyear F5 Air Hose is an excellent choice for manufacturing, construction, general industries, and of course for home projects.
The tube is constructed out of a groundbreaking hybrid blue flexible thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The cover is also of the same material except for its matte finish. Polyester fiber reinforces the construction.
With these materials, the F5 air hose is lighter by up to 45% than comparable rubber or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) hoses making it easy to move around your work area. Based on Veyance testing, its durability is comparable to the standards of the industry leaders.
It takes up to 50% less force to bend the F5 when compared to rubber and PVC hoses. Compared to the Flexzilla, which is recognized to be very flexible, the figure is lower at 20%. It is also able to perform in extreme weather conditions, in places like Alaska and the Death Valley. It can function in -40° to 158°F temperatures without losing its effectiveness.
The TPE air hose combines the best features of plastic and rubber hoses. Like a plastic hose, it is non-marking and lightweight. And like a rubber hose, it is resistant to oil and other chemicals and has a high working pressure rating reaching up to 300 PSI at 70°F. Burst pressure, on the other hand, goes as high as 1,200 PSI.
The hose is available in four different sizes, ¼”, 3/8″, ½” and ¾” internal diameters. Lengths include 25′, 50′, and 100′. For the reel types, this can be as long as 400′ to 750′. It comes with M x M NPT couplings, but bend restrictors are an option.
