Global Industrial PVC Air Hose

Global Industrial PVC Air Hose

Air hoses usually come in rubber, polyurethane, or polyvinyl chloride (PVC). While all three have their own advantages, they also have disadvantages. In the end, it boils down to your planned use of the air hose, and to a great extent, your personal preference.

Rubber is heavier than either polyurethanes or PVCs, but they are softer to touch, comfortable to work with, and when laid on the floor, lie flat. Polyurethanes and PVCs, on the other hand, are less expensive, easier to clean, and extremely durable.

This is true of the Global Industrial PVC Air Hose. Both its outer cover and inner tube are made of virgin resin PVC. This results in its excellent resistance to oil, waxes, chemicals, as well as grime and dirt, thus it is easy to clean and maintain. Wiping it off with a rag is usually sufficient to keep it clean. It also resists kinks, abrasions, and cracks, making it a durable tool. The inner wall, on the other hand, due to its virgin resin, is exceedingly flexible. It remains functional even in low temperatures.

The hose is reinforced with a strong polyester braiding which enables it to withstand a 300 PSI working pressure. It is perfectly suited for air compressors delivering compressed air to different air tools from nailers, through impact wrenches, air ratchet, to those requiring sustained air-delivery such as air grinders and sanders.

The Global Industrial PVC Air Hose is available in two lengths, namely, 50 and 100 feet. For its internal diameter, you can choose either 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch.
