Coilhose Pneumatics Flexeel Max Polyurethane Air Hose

Polyurethane hoses are generally lighter than those made of rubber or polyvinyl chloride or PVC. In spite of this, it is just as durable and flexible as the others, if not even more so. The Coilhose Pneumatics Flexeel Max Polyurethane Air Hose is one proof of this.
Made of reinforced polyurethane, the Flexeel Max weighs approximately half the weight of its rubber counterpart given the same diameter and length. Its resistance to abrasion is more than that of its rubber or PVC cousins.
The Flexeel Max has a working pressure of 300 PSI at a temperature of 70°F. It is extremely flexible even at temperatures as low as -40°F, and it can continue to function up to 165°F.
To keep the hose visible even in low light conditions, it is colored with Coilhose Pneumatics’ trademarked HI-VIZ Eel Green. It also includes an Eel Strap, another company trademark, which helps in the coiling, storing, and carrying of the air hose after use.
One end of the hose is fitted with a 1/4-inch Ball Swivel Coupler. This fitting is field-repairable and reusable, and can be attached to tools normally used in automotive repairs and industrial settings. It improves tool maneuverability as well as ergonomics. The other end of the hose is assembled with a connector trademarked Air Safety Plug. Like the Ball Swivel Coupler, it is also field-repairable and reusable. It releases air from the hose quickly but in a controlled manner avoiding sudden bursts that could result in dangerous hose whips.
The Flexeel Max Polyurethane Air Hose is available in three diameters –1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 inches. All have a length of either 50 or 100 feet.
